Zero tolerance for CSAE and CSAM

StartSalam has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). There are no exceptions to this policy.

Prohibited conduct

Users must not create, upload, share, solicit, promote, or distribute content involving the sexual exploitation or abuse of minors. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form
• Sexualized depictions or descriptions of minors
• Grooming, sexual solicitation of a minor, or attempts to arrange such contact
• Promoting, glorifying, or facilitating the sexual exploitation or trafficking of minors
• Off-platform links or references intended to distribute such material

Reporting child-safety concerns

Users can report child-safety concerns and prohibited content through StartSalam's in-app reporting system — tap the flag icon on any post, comment, or profile. Reports can be submitted by any user.

How we respond

StartSalam reviews reports and may:

• Remove or hide the reported content
• Suspend or permanently terminate the accounts involved
• Preserve relevant information when legally required
• Take other appropriate safety actions

Legal compliance

StartSalam will comply with applicable child-safety laws and will make reports to the appropriate regional or national authorities when legally required.

Age requirement

StartSalam is not intended for children. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, and older where your local laws require a higher age of consent for online services.
